JJ Ghera aka The Killah is a San Francisco native. He started dancing at the age of 13 in High School,  and worked his way as a back-up dancer in several local theater productions such as Grease and Chicago.  

At 18 JJ moved to Los Angeles, CA where he attended College at California state university, Northridge where he received his degree in Dance & Kinesiology. simultaneously, JJ trained at the world renowned Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio Program for 2 years where he trained with industry professionals.  During his time in LA JJ worked with choreographers, Tabitha & Napoleon (So You Think You Can Dance), Jaquel knight (Beyonce), Matt Cady (Madonna) and many more.


After 6 years in LA JJ moved to London, UK where he became a member of the hip-hop company Master of Movement, and he later signed with his first talent agency Box Artist Management. This gave him the opportunity to work on Britains got Talent & X-factor and a back dancer for LIttle Mix and Rebecca Ferguson. He was also teaching workshops around Europe.  

in 2014 He moved back to San francisco after suffering a spinal injury.  JJ continues to dance for local artist, teach classes & workshops, and is director of talent at Rae agency.  You can also catch JJ performing regularly around the bay as a drag performer as his alter ego
